In major incidents, the mains electricity supply, on which we all rely, might fail. In addition, the mobile telephone network may become overwhelmed. In these instances, you can rely on the contents of this grab bag to keep you informed and in-contact.
The bag contains two two-way radios for emergency communication. These radios are supplied with chargers and rechargeable batteries. However, the two way radios can also be used with standard AAA batteries in emergencies. An AM/FM radio is included to allow for the reception of news broadcasts in emergency situations.
