This all weather space blanket evolved from an insulation material developed for use by NASA in the Apollo program. The space blanket material reflects and retains up to 90% of body heat to help provide comfort and protection.

The space blanket has many uses for outdoor enthusiasts because it is large, waterproof, windproof, soil resistant, compact and weighs less than 400g. The blanket features full edge binding and corner grommets. Silver one one side, bright orange on the other with black edge binding. This space blanket is re-usable and can be easily cleaned. The space blanket is currently used by mountain rescue, life-guards and other medical rescue personnel.
