Waterproof 7x50 Binoculars
The Futurus Pro 7×50 WA binoculars with a distance-measuring reticule come with a set of light filters; the Orange Filter is recommended for long distance observation or for use in poor viewing conditions to increase visibility while the Protective Filter is used to shield the objective lenses in harsh or moisture laden environments.
Located in the right eyepiece, the distance-measuring reticule enables you to determine the distance to your subject. The distance measuring reticule is calibrated to the height of the withers of a wild boar at 0.7m and the average height of a buck with antlers at 1.75m (or a person standing 5'8").
The Futurus Pro 7x50 WA offers both the widest field of view and also the brightest image in low light conditions. Because the magnification (7x) divides in to the size of the front optic (50mm) more times than any other combination, this gives you a way to compare different models' relative brightness. Models that offer more than a 7 in this calculation are generally termed low-light binoculars.
