Ideal for quick stabilisation of fractured or injured limbs

A convenient multi-purpose splint which packs away for easy transportation. This reusable fold-flat (36") version is ideal for stabilising the forearm or leg etc. The splint features a thin core of aluminum alloy, sandwiched between two layers of closed-cell foam. The splint is extremely pliable, bends into any of three simple curves becoming extremely strong and supportive for any fractured or injured limb and can be rolled for easy storage in emergency back packs and kits. Use a cohesive bandage, crepe bandage or tape to secure the SAM splint.

Multiple uses: Not only can the SAM splint be used to splint almost every bone in the body, but when curved, the SAM splint is so strong, that it has been adapted for us as a canoe paddle or snow shovel in survival situations. In fact, the SAM splint is so useful we recommend that you keep one in your survival kit - we do.
