Library - recommended Books for Emergency and Disaster Preparedness

Be prepared - not scared

That's what it's really about and we thought an inviting and comfortable 'library' (even if just a virtual one) would be an excellent addition to our poplular 'Resilience Blog' and resources gateway 'Emergency Plan'.  So, come on in, have a browse, pull out a couple of books that grab your eye, get comfortable and explore 'preparedness'.

Emergency and Disaster Preparedness is not complicated nor scary and knowing more about it goes a long way in building your own personal understanding and resilience and that of the groups and communities you belong to. 

Much information is readily available in a 'free-floating' way on the internet which means you have to be critical about your sources. There are many excellent books and so we wanted to share our Library (google bookshelves) with you.
