Day Food Pack - Menu 1 Beef - 2220 kcal

A new, army style, day ration pack to cover vigorous activity for 12 hours. The new Ration-x day ration packs contain well over 2100 calories from solid food - no powders or sugary drinks here - this should be sufficient for a 24 hour period in normal situations. Included are two main meals, a dessert and plenty of snacks for the remaining hours. All of the products are ready to eat, no cooking required. The main meals are packed in retort pouches that can be heated by immersing them in hot liquid (boil in the bag) or the contents can be poured into mess tins for heating. It is also possible to heat these meal pouches using a flameless ration heater (not included). Approximately 24 month shelf-life.
