Shark Safety Knife with Retracting Hook

A heavy-duty rescue knife that will cut strapping, seatbelts, rope (up to 12mm), string, netting, rubber, clothing, banding, cable ties etc. This version features a retractable hook blade and replaceable main blade. The spring loaded hook blade can be set to auto or manual retraction. Simply open the knife by turning the screw and position the hook blade up for an auto-retract or down for manual retract.

The wider opening to the mouth blade does mean that fingers can be placed near the blade. However, the risk of a stab or slashing injury is eliminated. A heavy duty, moulded version of the Fish design with patented 'opposing slopes' at the mouth exit, reducing friction for a more efficient cut.  The 9mm wide mouth allows thicker materials and even 12mm diameter ropes to be cut safely. Blades can be easily reversed or replaced.
